26 Heartbeats for Geneva International
This book presents the inspirational stories of the many nationalities living in this international city. The author, Zahi Haddad, profiled the life stories of 126 personalities to commemorate 100 years of multilateralism and activities of civil societies in Geneva where the first General Assembly of the League of Nations was held in November 1920.
Indeed, Geneva has links to four corners of the world. It is recognised as a city of peace, the capital of human rights, a welcoming place of opportunities, possibilities and dialogue. Geneva is above all a place that challenges humanity to realize that it has the means to reinvent itself.
